Mommy and I were going to buy shoes at Stride Rite. We bought shoes that lit up. I asked about the lights. I asked if they were bio-luminescence. My mom said "The keyword is bio". That means there has to be a living organism in the shoe. So what I said was maybe the energy from our body makes the lights light up. But then, that gave me an idea. I wanted to make a shoe that had bio-luminescence. So I said "Let's put a piece of plankton on top of our shoe. That way they get light". Then almost immediately I thought of a name! "Seaweed Blossoms", said I. I also decided that the shoes should be water-proof because plankton need water, and we can keep pouring water on the shoe.

ReplyDeleteDo you think we can make little fins come out of the side when they are worn inside water - then they can be used as paddles too - this is especially useful for babies I think. The fins can go back and stick to the sides when they are out of water and dried up. What say you?

Wonderful idea. Seaweed blossoms looks so pretty and sounds so "green". Love it!! I would like toddler size 8 in it please.
