"The Barn Owl" - A poem inspired by Tennyson's "The Eagle"

 

She controls the moon in her domain

Above the trees in tough terrains

Golden in the black night, she gains.

A single feather, from her, flies

She glares with her dark eyes

But in the sunlight, she hides.
